Aircraft Recovery Support
Monitoring & Recovery.
Worried about repossession, Aeronave’s approach is simple:
effective lease management helps an owner understand its assets & the operators that use them - implementing a routine inspection & audit programme that monitors leased assets based upon their risk profile is key to successful asset management;
inspect the aircraft at the first signs of default, develop a specific recovery plan, that includes identifying immediate maintenance and modification work requirements - forward planning is key to a successful repossession;
where possible, work with the lessee to support recovery actions, in any event gain access and secure the aircraft and records at the earliest opportunity;
implement continued airworthiness management arrangements and relocate the aircraft for short term parking, immediate maintenance and pre-lease delivery work.
Post Repossession.
Once a new lessee is sourced, the aircraft must be delivered in the shortest time frame possible. The project management skills of Aeronave’s Technical Managers are key to achieving this. Following aircraft recovery and relocation at an MRO facility, it is essential that:
immediate maintenance requirements are identified and actioned, including engine boroscope inspections;
any mandatory inspections or modifications are completed;
aircraft condition remedial work that is not specific to a new lessee is completed;
aircraft records are prepared for airworthiness review and possible jurisdiction transfer;
once a new lessee is identified, a scope of work must be developed and implemented. A thorough understanding of the key events that drive the delivery project is key to minimising lost rental income and transition costs.

Looking after investors.
Monitor.
Effective lease and technical management services will monitor the use, continued utility and residual value implications for investor assets.
Plan.
Monitoring assets and market conditions enables Aeronave to develop and update investment strategy for routine leasing activity as well as adopting appropriate recovery actions during times of distress.
Recover.
Effective planning allows Aeronave to implement pro-active recovery plans. Our track record with aircraft repossessions proves that early recovery and relocation for maintenance work minimises expenses and lost rental revenue.
